Term Dates

Term Dates:

As a maintained school we closely follow the Surrey County Council School dates. Please click here for an overview of dates for this year and the coming academic year.

INSET Days:

We aim to share our INSET dates by the end of the spring term for the following academic year.

In addition to these dates, we will have 5 INSET (IN Service Education Training) days across the academic year which are focused on developing staff skills and training. On these dates children will not be in school:

INSET Days for 2026 / 2027:

  • Tuesday 1st September 2026
  • Monday 26th July 2027
  • Tuesday 27th July 2027
  • Wednesday 28th July 2027

Our final INSET day is still to be confirmed. 

Autumn Term 2026

  • INSET Day - Tuesday 1st September
  • Term Begins (Reception class start dates shared separately) - Wednesday 2nd September
  • Last day of Half Term - Friday 16th October
  • Half Term (2 weeks) - Monday 19th October - Friday 30th October
  • Second Half Term Begins - Monday 2nd November
  • Last Day of Term - Friday 18th December

Spring Term 2027

  • Term Begins - Monday 4th January 
  • Last day of Half Term - 13th February 
  • Half Term (1 week) - Monday 15th February - Friday 19th February 
  • Second Half Term Begins - Monday 22nd February
  • Last Day of Term - Thurdsay 25th March 

Summer Term 2027

  • Term Begins - Monday 12th April 
  • Last Day of Half Term - Friday 28th May 
  • Half Term Week (1 week) - Monday 31st May - Friday 4th June)
  • Second Half Term Begins - Monday 7th June
  • Last Day of Term - Friday 23rd July

Academic Year 2027 / 2028

Surrey County Council has confirmed that, from 2027,

the Autumn Term half term holiday will return to a one-week break.

As a voluntary aided school, we are obliged to follow the term dates set by Surrey, and will therefore adopt this change from 2027 onward.

Please note that, for the 2026 Autumn Term, arrangements will remain unchanged and there will still be a two-week half term as previously planned.

We will be updating our dates for 2027 / 2028 in the AUtumn Term of 2026.

Academic Year 2028 to 2029

Future dates for the 2028 to 2029 academic year will be published before 10 May 2027.
