In recent years we have established a partnership with Limpsfield C.E. Infant School and are excited to see this relationship grow and flourish. Working alongside another school has brought us strength in many areas of school life, benefiting the children and staff within our school communities. The governing bodies of both schools have a strong working relationship and are committed to delivering the best education for every child within our partnership.

This collaboration has already led to a number of tangible successes. Through shared leadership and professional dialogue, staff have had increased opportunities to moderate work, align expectations and develop a deeper understanding of progression across the primary phase. This has strengthened the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring greater consistency and high expectations for all pupils. Joint training and professional development activities have enabled staff to share expertise, reflect on best practice and grow in confidence, ultimately improving classroom provision.

The partnership has also enriched the curriculum for our pupils. Opportunities for shared events, enrichment activities and joint learning experiences have broadened children’s horizons and supported their social development. By working together, St Mary’s School and Limpsfield C.E.
