Wellbeing and Support
Supporting Every Child to Be Safe, Happy and Thrive
At our school, we believe that the most important thing for every child is to feel safe, happy and valued. Children's wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to providing support for a wide range of needs so that every child can flourish both personally and academically.
We recognise that children and families may need different types of support at different times. Our school works closely with staff, families and a range of external agencies and specialist organisations to ensure that children receive the right help, at the right time. This may include support for emotional wellbeing, mental health, family circumstances, attendance, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), safeguarding concerns, and other barriers that may impact a child's ability to thrive.
This page has been designed to signpost parents and carers to a variety of trusted resources, services and organisations that can provide guidance, advice and support. Some of these services are designed to help adults better support the children in their care, while others offer direct support and intervention for children and young people when appropriate.
Our approach is underpinned by our school values:
- Confidently Me – encouraging every child to develop confidence, self-belief and resilience.
- Belonging Together – ensuring all children feel included, respected and part of a caring community.
- Challenged to Contribute – empowering children to make a positive difference and reach their full potential.
By working together with families and our wider network of support services, we aim to create a nurturing environment where every child feels secure, supported and ready to succeed. We hope the information on this page will help families access the support they need and reinforce our shared commitment to helping every child be safe, happy and well.
